Privacy Policy

CFX Search is a free tool that looks up public information about FiveM game servers. It is operated from Spain and is not affiliated with Cfx.re, FiveM or Rockstar Games.

When you search for a server, we store one record with:

• · the server code you looked up
• · the date and time
• · whether the lookup succeeded
• · the two-letter country code that Cloudflare resolves for the request

That record is not linked to you. There is no identifier, no cookie and no IP address attached to it, so it cannot be traced back to a person or to a browsing session. We use it for two things: the public search counter you can see on the home page, and to understand which countries the tool is used from.

We also record how many players each FiveM server has, sampled every 30 minutes. That is public information about game servers, not about people.

We set no analytics cookies of our own, and we run no analytics at all.

Advertising cookies are set by Monetag, which funds the site. They are set from the moment a page loads, on every visit, and we do not ask you first. See the advertising section below for what you can do about it.

The only thing we store ourselves is the colour theme you chose. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

Cloudflare, our security provider, may set a strictly necessary cookie to keep the site available and to tell humans from automated traffic. See their section below.

Cloudflare sits in front of this site as a content delivery network and security layer. As part of delivering the page to you, it processes your IP address and may run a bot check. This is what tells us your country, which is the only part we keep. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Cfx.re / FiveM. Server information comes from the official FiveM master list. Those requests are made by our server, not by your browser, so Cfx.re does not see your visit. Two exceptions load directly in your browser: server icons and server owner avatars, which are hosted by Cfx.re. Your browser requests those images from them directly.

Monetag serves the advertising on this site and receives your IP address and cookie data as part of that. Its script also registers a service worker in your browser, which is what allows it to deliver notifications. See the advertising section below for detail and for how to manage it.

Fonts, flags and every other asset are hosted on our own servers, so no request leaves for a third-party CDN.

Player-count history is kept for 15 days and then deleted automatically.

Search records are kept to power the public counter and country statistics. Because they contain no identifier and no IP, they are not personal data and are retained in aggregate.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Spain, the AEPD.

In practice we hold nothing that identifies you, so there is normally nothing to give you access to or to delete. If you believe otherwise, contact us and we will look into it.

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them. Since we collect no personal data from anyone, no age-specific data is gathered.

This site is funded by advertising served through Monetag, in its all-in-one format. Monetag decides which of these to show you:

• · banners placed inside the page
• · full-screen ads shown between pages, which you can close
• · ads that open in a new browser tab when you click
• · push notifications — messages sent to your browser or phone even when this site is closed

Advertising loads on every visit and this site offers no way to switch it off. You are not asked first, and that is true everywhere, including the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland. The site is free and the advertising is what pays for it.

Push notifications are the exception you do control: your browser asks its own permission before any of them can reach you. Refusing it is enough to receive none, and if you allowed it and changed your mind, you can revoke it from your browser's notification settings for this site. No website can override that.

To serve and measure ads, Monetag uses cookies and similar technologies, registers a service worker in your browser, and processes your IP address. That processing is carried out by Monetag as an independent controller; we do not receive your IP address or any advertising identifier from them. Their practices are described in Monetag's privacy policy.

What is left in your hands: your browser's cookie settings, its notification settings, and any ad blocker you choose to run. We do not detect blockers and we do not ask you to disable them.

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
